LIFESTYLE
The JBR invites to pedestrian lifestyle, relaxing and having fun by the water. Once could become a boat owner and moor it right at the Dubai Yacht Club, hire one for a day out, or simply visit the place for a bite to eat. The marina walk is designed to either go for a leisurely stroll with the family or take a more serious jog along its length. Due to its fame and the fact that the RTA has a ferry station at the Dubai Marina, practical to use as a resident, it of course also attracts quite a few tourists who will want to check out your neighbourhood as well, creating a lively in what is already a cosmopolitan atmosphere.
DINING
JBR is packed with restaurants and cafés offering all culinary delights imaginable from the simple to the exclusive. JBR alone is a row where one could find oneself a hard time choosing at which table to settle. The many hotels and hotel residences in the area mean that many are licensed as well and nightlife strives in the Dubai Marina. Few in Dubai haven’t been to the original Buddha Bar at Grosvenor House for example.
SCHOOL
JBR has great access to a whole range of local schools and nurseries. One of the closest is the Raffles International School. Opened in 2007, Raffles’ South Campus is an authorised school for the Cambridge Curriculum. For young children there is a whole host of nurseries in and around Dubai Marina, including Marina Village Nursery, Willow Nursery Dubai Marina and Kids Kare Nursery.
